Jim That's a pretty tall request...it's like asking what classic car to buy! It's all about what you need it for (mono leads, poly pads, etc.) personal preference + budget. Besides Moog, Arp,Korg, Roland... there are lots of less well known brands like Sequential Circuits that are worth looking into. Do an ebay search for "vintage synth" or "analog synth" and than cross reference the names you find with sites like www.harmonycentral.com and www.sonicstate.com to find user reviews on them. -Ed vintagesynthrepair ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 2 Date: Fri, 17 Oct 2003 21:57:34 -0000 From: "jimkxm" Subject: advice I'm looking for any advice on what would be a good vintage synth to buy. I've only used a Kurzweil K2000, so I'd prefer something that's reliable and not too difficult to operate. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim P.S. I'm new to the group, but that julie_bells276 sure seems like a nice girl. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
