(if you have enough place > inside, that is...) ------------------- I discovered that installing an 8 ohm speaker instead of the 16 ohm speaker puts a greater load on the amplifier & it may not be able to provide enough wattage to drive it. So, you're right, it could short the amp - but it probably will just sound anemic. Tom
