Hello tekkies, Does anyone know of a source for old obsolete Motorola 68K chips? In particular, I am looking for the MC68000P10 CPU chip and an MC68440P10 dual DMA chip. These are both used in the Ensoniq EPS classic that I'm trying to fix. The CPU might be okay, but the DMA chip gets pretty hot (will burn finger) while operating. Does anyone out there know if these are supposed to radiate this much heat? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as there is little to no information on the web about servicing this keyboard.
