The Emax is the same way, just fix it to boot from drive select 0 instead of 1 and this can be accomplished by changing the surface mount resistor on the pcb from DS1 to DS0. Your only issue then is how to fill the gap, but as previously suggested on the list before, a cassette case works nicely.
