Selling my Polysix

Selling my Polysix

2004-08-10 by toorglick

Unfortunately I will be selling my Polysix.

With another child on the way and two rooms to finish in the house
before the baby gets here I simply don't have the time or patience to
fuss with it.

If anyone is interested, here's my ad copy:

This Polysix had the "battery problem" which I fixed last year, but
over the past month some problems have cropped up again. I am unable
to dedicate the time or resources to reviving it again.

The keybed is as perfect as it can get; I hand-cleaned each key and
cleaned the contacts. Since then I have had no issues with they keys.

All knobs, switches, buttons, jacks, controllers are present and
function fine with no scratches. I cleaned the boards and any button
that needed it.

The rest of the insides have been cleaned, and all worked fine prior
to KLM 367 going down again.

If you are one of those who collect dead Polysixes, fix them, and
sell them, all of the steps in restoring one have been taken with the
exception of reviving KLM 367.

Cosmestically it's clean and is pretty good-looking for its age.
There maybe a small scratch or nick here or there but nothing I
really would consider significant; that sort of thing bugs me if I
notice them and I don't notice them on this Polysix. The only
cosmetic issue is that the rear bottom corners of the faux wood side
panels have worn away about centimeter. I applied glue to stop the
chipboard from flaking away and it has been fine since.

I'm asking $125 plus shipping. I will double-box the synth for
shipment. Please check my Ebay feedback:

Thanks.
