No, as far as I can tell you have to be a "certified charity campaign” to receive Paypal donations. Only options are:

• Visa

• Mastercard

• Discover (Canada excluded)

• American Express

• Sofort (For German donors)

• GiroPay (For German donors)

• iDeal (For Dutch donors)

Is that a problem? It didn’t occur to me.

By the way, you could paypal to my private account and I can lower the goal on gofundme by that much. Contact me off list for that. It’s just a little bit less transparant which I wanted to avoid.

I have Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, so not really a problem. They just sometimes block random online payments and I have to call them to release it.

Just a quick update: we’re already at €70, thanks! In the mean time I’ve been pimping our new home at https://vintagekorg.groups.io/g/Main. This is going to be a fine place!

We did it! The fundraiser succeeded.

I upgraded to a premium plan @ groups.io now, and I have set the migration in motion. I do not know how long this is going to take (at most a few days). Due to the load on Yahoo’s servers it might take a few tries, we’ll see. The groups.io support forum is currently flooded with Yahoo refugees...

I’ll keep you posted.
