Problem wit KLM367 clone

Problem wit KLM367 clone

2017-05-29 by morelius21@gmail.com

Hi

I have a Polysix whit a new clone pcb. I try to calibrate but is not posible. I try to explain my situation:

When the test switch is in normal. The p6 has the leds on for program 1 and 5 on but bank is not illuminated. And only works arpeggio and key assign mode. I try to make the calibration procedure for reset  but nothing change of the lights in program section and the initial state of this procedure is wrong.

when i put the test switch in test mode the presets and banks works but the synth sound to bad.

in both situation the VCF and MG doesn't reacts.

I checked voltage, components and belive all is correct.

any idea

thanks for your time

Hi Marc, I bet your KLM367 clone is faulty. Is it the new one made by Andrej SH?

Hola Marc, casi seguro que la nueva placa está mal. ¿Es la nueva que acaba de sacar a la venta Andrej SH?.

May seem strange but make sure the Normal/Test switch is not installed backwards. From your led description of each setting it sounds like this could be the case. The new switch is not labeled "Normal/Test" and likely says "Open" on one side and "1 2" on the other. The "Open" side of the switch should be "Normal" and the "1 2" side should be "Test."
