Cut traces - Factory Mod?

Just poking around about polysix grounding issues and found this below…
Anyone noticed they have cut traces? I don't have them in mine. I do have a minor and subtle grounding issue somewhere involving the pots/encoding, so almost thinking they could have discovered it at factory and made these mods.
