kinda OT: korg ms-20 problems...

Hey y'all...I have a ms-20 that has a bit of a problem...There is
something wrong with the voltages that get to the filter module..The
result is a ms-20 that only tunes to one note (and its octaves) via
the master tune. There is some kind of pitch (or 'pitched' noise)
that makes the other notes out of tune. We tried to install a spare
korg35 IC as we knew that was out, but the problem returned after a
few hours of working smoothly. Does anyone know what this might be?
Could an abnormally high CV from one of the other modules cause this?
I know this is a little off-topic, but any help is appreciated...
Also- does anyone have any reccommendations for any repair shops that
can fix these? I live in New York and haven't had any luck...
