Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Hi to all I have a p6 that is not working I have fixed the batt. problems found a bad ic32 and replaced, and also checked all my traces, but the ic 22 chip gets hot in about 30 seconds I have ohm checked all the pins and all are above 1000 ohms except for the grounds and power supplies. I also have checked with an o-scope and find no signal all pins are between 3.5 and 5 volts, except for the grounds. I was wondering if I can pull ic 22 and test for voltage on the signal lines and such, and if I should see anything on those lines with ic 22 removed? thanks for any help
