polysix free to good home - maybe for parts

2013-02-04 by john quinlan

hi everyone

i ve been following the posts for a few years – my polysix had an acid leak and repair but some main board damage (i think) – the keyboard and case are in reasonable condition – it does make sounds but not really in tune – and some notes on the keyboard dont work – i think problems with the contacts – i think it may be useful to some one for spare parts, etc although may not be too much wrong with it – i lie near sydney australia - if someone wants it let me know and you could pick it up or i could drop it off – i m quite happy with the emulator versions so i dont want to spend time or money getting it fixed ... no cost involved unless maybe postage

cheers

john

Hi John,

I am very interested in your PolySix. I'm an electronics engineer, and
love to fix gear to use.

I am in Perth. I have a courier account. Are you able to box the synth?
Can you provide dimensions and weight for shipping?

Cheers mate,

Oli

Hey John,

Have you considered this? It could be your fix and upgrade all in one.

Yeah, these Kiwitechnics KLM-367 boards and new PSUs look amazing! They even come with a new uProcessor! If I hadn't already done the 367-clone project (in triplicate) I'd consider getting one of these!
