personally i wouldn't let apple ruin my day (again). I belive we are all here in love with the vintage side of it which a screen will never compete no matter how "smart" that jobs was. applies to all arturia products, and every and each one of the "emulating" software. there is no emulation. thare is only marketing and a lot of buyers. cheers. ________________________________

Hi All, I like this app and think it captures the Poly Six pretty well, certainly I was able to navagate quickly to some of my faverite sounds using it (as I could in the Korg Legsey version). Since the Poly Six has not been made in 20+ years it is a nice tribute by Korg and in the end will just create a wider intrest in Synths and Analog stuff in a new younger audence. Hopefuly someday resulting in enough demand to create a real world analog synth again (a sterioded Monotron). It has a lot of features 2x Poly Six and a drum synth both a sequencer and scene player. The only thing it lacks is a battery explosion option. I think it is on sale till christmas for less than $20 which is easy on the wallet. So I love both the origional and the digital and think their apples and oranges so comparison is not necessary but enjoyment is there and I can play my Poly Six anywhere any time. Happy Holidays to all John ________________________________

Pixels guys. You will be pixeled and imported by apple in a hdd and then sold. Apple is a whore. ________________________________ From: Peter Ullrich <mailto:synpro%40networld.at> To: mailto:PolySix%40yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, December 15, 2012 1:31 AM Subject: Re: [PolySix] iPolysix for iPad > Pretty nice app, I must say. > > Crow > /**/ > Yes very nice. Respectfully directed at "Arp Duex <arpm234@yahoo. com>", sir, I did not appreciate your demeaning and curse-filled language directed toward Mr Terhorst. This is a discussion board discussing synthesizers and people's hobbies...there's no need for attacking fellow forum members in this way. Even though it is the internet, civility and courtesy is still a the right choice. Chip [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

good morning chip, thank you! i have been a "silent" subscriber for quite awhile and have really enjoyed reading about everyone's polysix adventures. all of the discussion has been very informative and enjoyable, until yesterday, when i was subjected to numerous emails from "Arp Duex". i was wondering about how to respond myself, but you did a much nicer job than i would have. thanks again for stepping up, mike

Hi all, I have removed the offending messages from the board. My apologies for any offence this might have caused. I have asked Arp to use more civil language in future postings. Ben, moderator.

I appreciate all of the knowledge I have gotten here about my Poly Six and apologize for somehow provoking negativity or upsetting anyone. Happy holiday to all (running through a ensemble chorus/delay). Ok. I do appologise to everyone who felt ofenced in any way but let's just consider where this is going: implementing 2 x software which is nothing compared to original. maybe it is just me, but i'm really fed up with all this non sense. And yes, negativity is sometimes required. For instance if somebody kills another which is happening now with palestine and we all keep silent for the fear of not beeing negative. [Please keep politics out of this group, thank you - Moderator] Now, i don't know.. maybe bad language is to be avoided, which is something I agree with, but I also demand from whoever moderates this group to filter out any marketing or advertising from a group. And let's just do that by defining what a tribute is / is not. It was not the easyness of the sound resamblence which brought us togeter here, was it ? Google always feels that important to advance tribues to whatever [moderated] they consider will do good for their business. So yes, that beeing said, once again, please ignore my bad language. Just a way of expresing my frustration. Love Arp out. [Moderated all previous responses out]
