Hi,

You have any idea for replacement for IC19 (JRC4558DV) ? I have tested a
JRC4558DD (the DV suffix is important?), but don't works :/

Thanks,
Richard

Hello

I could be off but, my memory is that the JRC 4558DD and JRC4558DV should be the same part but the DD version is ROHS compliant. The first D tells you that it is a Pdip8 package. The second letter is either Generic, special temperature range, High CMRR, ROHS, or other cherry picked subgroup. It could well be like the old crown amps where you needed to try 3 or 4 op amps before you find the one that works in the circuit just because the tolerances in the circuit were so tight. That's why when you are working on an old crown amp you really should order replacement parts from crown. They sort them out for you, other wise you will likely need to try several before you find one that works.

That said I believe I have a few JRC4558DV op amps some where
in the parts bins that were pulls from an old Yamaha board. If you are in the states, I could send you one, when I find them.

Archie
