Patch Recall Wierdness

Patch Recall Wierdness

2012-08-14 by tonezone020

Hi ...

Finally got all buttons and controls working - everything seems fully functional.

The problem is recalling patches.

It seems that whatever parameters are edited and stored, they are recalled at a higher value.

I'm using the original battery damaged board.

Any clues would gratefully appreciated.

Cheers,
Tony

hi,
maybe one of the data lines in memory chip is pulled high by some solder
joint or simply damaged. I'm talking about pins 11 to 14 of IC32 (TC5514).
The short may be also caused by destroyed IC31 which is on the ame
lines. I used to replace them too, they were corroded that much.

Check with the scope if there is full range square pulse on each of
those 4 pins in memory chip. Or use ohmmeter if you don't have a scope
to check if any of them shows much lower resistance to battery's (+) or
GND. Of course in this case when it's powered off.

Hi All,

I've noticed the last resistor in the R15 array measures 5.7k.

Could this be the culprit?

It leads to IC2.

Regards,
Tony
