Am I missing the boat or is there a link I cant find? How do I find the poly 6 parts list? Thanks

I assume you're talking about the KLM-367 replacement board, right? Hey guys, just wondering what the deal is with R74? I'm noticing discrepancies on the Google docs list. I did a few Google searches and a search of the Yahoo archives and came up with little to nothing. All I found was a conversation where someone mentioned using R74 from the original KLM-367, but there was no mention of an issue with the parts list, specifically related to R74. The Google docs lists R74 as such: Resister: 74 Value: 249R Specs: 0.6W, 1%, metal film <---------------- Different spec then the Farnall List Farnell Part#: 9466282 <--------------------------- Different then the Farnell list Manufacturer: VISHAY SFERNICE Mouser Part#: 660-MF1/4DC1003F <------------ Same part # as R8, 12, 13, 14 (which is 100K Ohm, 1/4 W, 1%, metal film) But the Farnell list has it as: Resistor: 74 Value: 249R Specs: 0.25W, 0.1%, metal film Farnell Part#: 9501290 Thought I'd point it out in case people have yet to notice. Hopefully the Google docs list can be updated! Thanks, Arturo..... ============================================ Arturo Brisindi [Musics] mydadvsyours.com | soundcloud.com/arturo00 [Studios] galleryrecording.weebly.com | arturo00.weebly.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Hi, You can use either! The finer tolerance type (9501290) is a much better fit, but more expensive. Farnell also have a steady supply! If anyone can find an alternative in this E series which is 1% then please let us know! (That goes for the others which are quoted at 0.6W) Cheers, Andy On 11/11/2010 05:11, "Arturo B" <arturo00@hotmail.com> wrote: > > Hey guys, just wondering what the deal is with R74? You can use 1/8 watt up to 1/2 watt. This should give you plenty of options. I'm , right now , working of substitute parts for the multipin connectors

I think the issue was the availability of 249 ohm resistors at Mouser. I haven't checked recently to see if they have any in 1/4 watt, 1% but they didn't when we were putting this list together. Aaaah, I see. But the Google Docs parts list has R74's part number listed as "660-MF1/4DC1003F", which I believe is the same part number for a 100K Ohm resistors (R8, 12, 13, 14). Is it ok to use that part as R74? I assume not if R74 requires 249 Ohms and the part number is for a 100K Ohm resistor. I guess that's my concern, that the part number listed is that of another value that isn't interchangeable at all. If we can in fact use this 100K Ohm resistor for R74, that's great. I just want to be sure as I am somewhat inexperienced in this sort of thing. :) Thanks, Arturo..... ============================================ Arturo Brisindi [Musics] mydadvsyours.com | soundcloud.com/arturo00 [Studios] galleryrecording.weebly.com | arturo00.weebly.com > To: PolySix@yahoogroups.com > From: jed.jorgensen@gmail.com > Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2010 06:31:17 -0800 > Subject: Re: [PolySix] Re: Parts List: R 74 Discrepancies? > > I think the issue was the availability of 249 ohm resistors at Mouser. Whoops! I think you caught one. It should be this: 660-MF1/4CC2490F Not sure what happened there. Good catch. Now I'm remembering...we were concerned about the .6 watt rating and the original part that we ordered really didn't fit the pcb. Then Andy determined 1/4 watt worked fine. If you wanted you could try the 1/2 watt: 660-MF1/2DC2490F Anyway, yes, you were right. I've updated the file online.
