Hi. I try to recreate the classic Jarresound of Oxygene. I used the ensemble effect at max depth in chain with an external phaser, an original 1974 MXR Phase 90. You can listen the results. http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr5MhZFYp4U Cheers Giorgio.

Hi Giorgio, Nice tribute. Sounds are lush and sweet. Did you use a Theremin in this? btw, where did you find the 1974 phaser? Some of those old effects units can give a really lovely sound. Thanks for posting you work. Cheers, Oliver

Thanks No. I own a theremin too, but in this recording I used an analog monosynth with lot of portamento. > > btw, where did you find the 1974 phaser? I wonder about the possibility of the Polysix.A friend was at the live show of Jarre in Ljubljana and found the sound of Eminent not so far from my Polysix. Merry Christmas to all, Giorgio, yours "synth voice" is just fantastic, even more colorful than Jarre's Putney! Can you make a sample to share with syn-friends? Thanks a lot. I'm listening via computer so I have to wait. In addition to two real P6s, one of which has a MIDI kit in it, I have the P6 Legacy softsynth. In my computer, I have a set up that plays two notes in octaves for every note I play on the controller. The soft P6's output is then phased for a very JMJ-like sound. I smile every time I play that patch! I should try using the MIDIed *real* P6 as the controller... ;-) Cheers, Bill
