PC1 replacement (VTL5C3)

PC1 replacement (VTL5C3)

2007-10-11 by hjulskov

Hi!

I have four questions about replacing PC1:

1: Is this the correct replacement for PC1?:
http://www.elfa.se/elfa-bin/dyndok.pl?lang=dk&dok=2011716.htm?_75_365_01

2: Which should I buy -the single or dual?

3: Stupid question: People talk about replacing the R93 to a "1k2
ohm" resistor -is this the same as a "1.2 k ohm"?

4: Will a 1/8W carbon resistor do?

My PolySix blog: http://korgpolysixrestoration.blogspot.com/

Thanks in advance,
Hjulskov

Yes, it's the universal standard. Some areas use 1.2 some use 1,2
etc.. so.. to make it easy, you put the modifier where the decimal
goes.

I would guess so. I don't know how critical it is, but you might want
to look for a 1% resistor, or measure them until you find one that is
as close as possible to your desired value. I always use 1/4W carbons
because I buy them in bulk for $.01 each.

Thanks.

I'll buy the resistor at the local store.

I've ordered the Vactec VTL5C3 from Smallbear.
