Removing Wire Connectors (damn glue!!!)

Removing Wire Connectors (damn glue!!!)

2006-10-10 by peter_vh01

Hello,

I am hoping that someone can explain to me how to properly remove the
wire connectors from the boards inside the polysix. They are
apparently glued quite together quite strongly. I have tried
cutting/cracking the glue, but have only yet been able to pull out one
of the connectors.

Are there any tricks to pulling out those connectors? I don't want to
put too much force into them, as I don't want to break the soder joints!

Thanks,

- Peter

Make use of a good knife, like a box cutter or scalpel. And then
carefully cut the glue.

At least this worked for other devices I was digging around in. My
Trident doesn't have glued connectors.
