Mine's the same. When I first turn it on, it barely makes a sound, and I have to manually twiddle every single knob to get the beginnings of a sound, and then it's a very unpleasant, highly modulated sound. After an hour (or two) it sounds smooth and like it should. Not conducive to impulsive music-making. I'd be grateful for a quick-fix, too. Reidar _____
