Where to get SSM2044 and SSM2056 in Germany?

Hello again,

as reported I was gifted this Trident MK II and today I was able to
narrow down the remaining problems to 3 defective chips: 2x SSM 2044 and
1x SSM 2056.

(Apart from the broken joystick. I caught the battery in the last
minute, it had already started leaking but no severe damage...)

I guess those chips are common in the old Korg boxes but I also guess
they are not manufactured any more.

Where did you buy your's? Any idea where to get them in Germany resp.
EU? Does Korg keep some in the drawer for us guys?

Does this forum have a list of FAQ?

I can sell them to you, have a few from a bad Polysix.

I'm currently in touch with a German guy who offered me used ones. (SM
2056)

But if I need some more. Who knows who will give away which synth
tomorrow. ;-))

I bought some of the remaining new SM 2044 in Hong Kong - not a very
safe deal. Hoping everything goes well.

P.S.: Why don't we write a nice letter to Analog Devices (formerly SSM)
and ask them to produce a new batch of those chips? Is this just crazy
or is there any chance...?
