Hello- Wanted to let everyone know that I've received a new batch of MIDI boards for the Polysix. This is the SpiderRoom Labs MIDI; just a simple MIDI In in Poly mode, channel selectable via Sysex command. I'm offering them for $70 installed & tested. Details at: http://www.analogsynthservice.com/

I can offer boards that you can easily mount by yourself. 35EUR with shipping worldwide. Just the board (assembled and tested), you provide the DIN socket, this way shipping is much easier. Solder the board directly to bottom side of keyboard's connector in P6, attach 2 short wires for GND and power, and MIDI socket with the cable. Roman ----- Original Message -----

If cost is really a factor, this is a fairly straightforward DIY project -- just get all the parts listed on the SpiderRoom site, wire up the circuit on some perfboard, get hold of a PIC programmer, program the PIC, open up your synth & wire the new board onto the voice board per his instructions, drill a hole in the back of the synth for mounting the MIDI jack, wire it up & test it. ~G >On 3/23/06, cavernosum7 <klosmon@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > > Hello- > > Wanted to let everyone know that I've received a new batch of MIDI > > boards for the Polysix. > > This is the SpiderRoom Labs MIDI; just a simple MIDI In in Poly mode, > > channel selectable via Sysex command. > > I'm offering them for $70 installed & tested. > > Details at: > > <http://www.analogsynthservice.com/>http://www.analogsynthservice.com/ > > > > > > > > > > > > > > PolySix "Digiest" Page: > <http://www.acc.umu.se/~amber/Poly6>http://www.acc.umu.se/~amber/Poly6 > > Yahoo! Take into consideration that the components themselves cost about 25 $, not to mention the burning of the IC (I made two so far) --- In PolySix@yahoogroups.com, "jure zitnik" <kokoon@...> wrote: > > any chance to order just the board? > > On 3/23/06, cavernosum7 <klosmon@...> wrote: > > Hello- > > Wanted to let everyone know that I've received a new batch of MIDI > > boards for the Polysix. > > This is the SpiderRoom Labs MIDI; just a simple MIDI In in Poly mode,

i decided i'll etch the board myself. now - is there anyone that could get me an already programmed PIC? or maybe point me to a good (tested) schematic for a burner? what PICs are used in this project nowadays? can the PIC16F84 still be bought? cheers, jure
