I got a photocopy of the Korg Polysix Service Manual from http://www.korg.co.uk Just rang 'em up and they sent me one. This was in about 1999, but if they had it on file then, don't see why they would have thrown it away since.... whatever! Technical documents such as the Poly6 Service Manual are often revised during and after the life of the product. If you want to get the correct latest version, go to the publisher: Korg! They are still in business, one of the biggest music technology companies in the world! Only recently, they reissued a virtual analogue version of the polysix in software - it's not a forgotten machine. They will be able to supply it to you - if not from your local European outlet, then go to Japan! This is the internet, you can reach them easily! This is much better than getting 3rd hand photocopies or scans off some random person out there, with no check of their accuracy. If your local Slovenian office are idiots, complain to Japan! Someone will fly out from Tokyo and kick their ass :) -- David Davis ----- Original Message -----

i'm glad this conversation was archived in the yahoo groups so i (and other polysix owners in need of a service manual) can re-read it at a later time to refresh memories of why we joined the group in the first place. i know. you don't care your eyes are as dry as ever. jure

Yup, people can read in the archives where they should go to get the official, best quality version of the Korg Polysix Service Manual. To Korg themselves. I think it's helpful to know that. You seem to think "being helpful" involves people photocopying you things... -- David Davis ----- Original Message -----

What I need to do is find the manual, which is packed in one of about 300 boxes sitting in my basement after last year's house move. Once I find it, I will scan it and put it up on my site. Crow /**/ jure zitnik wrote:

Crow, you da man.....been following the group for about a month or two. I've had a Polysix for about 15 years. Got the battery replaced after it started to go out of tune with itself. My tech guy said the board was OK but he didn't know how to tune it.. I tried to tune it but need to persevere. I've downloaded some insturctions from your Crow site as well as the group site. Thanks for all your help. One of these days I'll knock it out. Crow, it would be great if you could post the good quality scan :) BTW, as regarding to the KLM-367A layout you posted a few days ago, is it totally identical to the original one excpet for the diode/lithium conversion section ? I'd like to recover one badly severed board and need to rewire dozens of traces... Also, how much would getting you new board production cost?
