Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Any one have the procedure for putting a coin cell on a Poly61. Trying
to figure out how to disable the charging circuit like on the Poly6.

To change the battery to Lithium, you have to substitute the current
limiting charging resistor (100ohms?) with a blocking diode. The
cathode should connect to the +5v supply thus blocking the supply from
reaching the battery which could cause the battery to explode. The
procedure is the same for both units
