with your current tools, I'd think that the solder wick would be the most helpful. Just be liberal with it. I have a desoldering gun that I use for multi-pin jobs, or just jobs that require a lot of desoldering. I believe it was around 100 dollars or so, but it's been a while. -ben (good luck!)
