That sounds like what my P6 is doing too - like the mod wheel is fully on.
Everything is 'bubbling'. I have found that the PWM width control seems to
have the best effect on it, but also, if I leave the P6 switched on for an
hour or so, it goes away. I'm not an electronics-type, so I really don't
have a clue, but the fact that it goes away (usually) after a long warm-up
might mean something to some of you?

For the love of Pete. The distortion is still there. FWIW, it
actually sounds more like something osciallating at a high
frequency. I went through and checked the continuity of some more
traces and everything checked out okay. I jumped a couple of
  suspicious traces.

My only thought now, at least in regards to what *I* can do next, is
to remove the jumps I put in over the past two days and start over
from there. IC30 seems to be okay based on what I could measure.

Of course, now the patch and bank buttons are going haywire.

Does anyone see anything in my descriptions that could help?
