Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

I just got a polysix and I must say it's a beautiful sounding synth, 
much on the bass side ! I like it being able to make especially great 
piano/organ/bass, which quite complements my Kawai SX-210 which is 
not strong enough on the organ/piano type of sounds.

The first thing I noticed is that is was way out of tune, so I had a 
little search here and found the great instruction page someone has 
posted here and had it tuned.

Next is replacing the battery and the power supply capacitors.

My question is if by any way replacing the two large capacitors on 
the powersupply (2200uF and 4700uF) can change the voltages in the 
circuit and make it out of tune in any way ?.... I;m afraid that 
voltage changes will make some VR's set diffenrent values making all 
type of tunings changed.
