Re: [PolySix] Tuning issue

I hate to state the obvious, but don’t forget that the Polysix has a mod wheel without a spring. You need to make sure it is centered. Also make sure the Tune knob is centered. A bad opto usually only causes problems with upper octave scaling from what I have seen. Trimmer VR15 Tune Mid is the only thing you should touch to adjust the entire thing up or down. Anything else will just mess up the scaling.

Subject: [PolySix] Tuning issue

Hi guys, new to the group and still trying to navigate my way around...

I've done a search, but couldn't find an answer to my problem, so apologies if it's been dealt with before.

I had the kiwisix mod installed last year and then it went into storage.

Now it's out of storage and I'm trying to fix the tuning.

I can get all the voices in tune with each other, and the scaling spot on across the octaves.

However, it's 5 semitones out, so that C6 = F6, C2 = F2, etc.

No matter what I do, I can't reach the right notes with the trims.

Is this an issue with the PC1 opto? Or am I missing something else?

Any help massively appreciated!

Thanks
