OK, one of the acceptable numbers is ALPS #SKHCAB -- Mouser electronics sells them as #688-SKHCAB, for about .66 each. Other possible substitute: Omron B3F-4000. As I recall, the procedure is to first delsolder the LED, which is holding the switch cap on. After that's removed, the four switch legs can be desoldered.
