If you can spare $25, then you have a scope. Look for DSO138 on eBay. It's DIY kit, all parts included. Works good for audio frequencies.

The problem does appear on all waveforms. I will rerecord with different settings and in different octaves to help give you guys a better idea. I have some decent experience with electronics and am willing to get my hands dirty. Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope or access to one (unless there is a cheap one online or something.)Really appreciate the help here. Should have hopped on this forum a long time ago.
