Hi, I got a polysix a few months ago and I've replaced the NiCd battery, replaced some neighboring chips, replaced a bunch of the buttons, and tightened up the pitch among the six voices. Compared to my Mono/Poly, though, the attack just isn't snappy enough. Anyone got any mods to improve the snap? I searched the archives here and came up with two messages. One is below (the one I'm replying to). Another is this one: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/PolySix/message/1122 Unfortunately, neither have any actual mod given. Bummer. I found this link, which compares attack times in a quantitative way (I love actual data!)...but, sadly, it doesn't talk about speeding it up either... http://analog.no/cms/index.php/envelopes Looking at the schematic, I see the capacitor and resistors that affect the attack/release time, but before I get out the soldering iron, I'm wondering if anyone has actually tried anything with success. Thanks all!
