Re: [PolySix] Re: Keyboard Problem (key assigner)

2012-03-26 by Andrew Jury

Hi,

I can confirm that I have fitted the 'clone' board to both Polysix with old
and new production KLM366 with no changes required. Can someone remind me
again what the problem is with the KLM366 in this particular Polysix. You
really need to troubleshoot these sort of problem in a linear fashion,
starting at the keyboard and ending up with the D/A converter ladder and the
CV out, etc. If you get no gate control (no LEDS) then try putting your
finger on the mask ROM and seeing if it is cold/warm/scorching. If either,
apart from the middle, then you might want to investigate a replacement. If
you are really stuck send me a private message and I might be able to fix
the board for you by return of post.

See ya,
Andy
