Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Oh, forgot to mention C33. It's not connected across R98 and Q5. It is
connected from emitter to collector on Q5, not across R98.

Hi Dennis,

Yes, IC2 is the LM339. The schematic is wrong, just one of the many little
bugs you will find in it. IC3 is really the first 4558 at the other end of
the board in the "From Tape" circuit. You will also find two D12's in the
schematic. D13 is also labeled as D12. D14 is labeled D13 and there is no
D14 in schematic but you can find it on the board. There are also two
control lines labeled MG SP in the schematic. The one from IC13 is correct.
The one from IC14 is really MG Level. Back on the "From Tape" circuit, you
will see two capacitors labeled C4. The real C4 goes from pin 6 to pin 7 of
IC3. The capacitor from tape in to pin 6 is really C5. There are probably
more errors. Those are just the ones I wrote down.

Hi group,

Can some one identify IC2 for me....on my board its blackend out and in the
SM there is no mention of IC2...however if i follow the schematics it should
be a 339 but in the schematics this IC is labelled IC3 so im a little
confused....
