Success! The new TC5514 is installed and I have 32 working presets. The other main problem on this Polysix is related to at least a couple of other threads I've seen people discussing. It used to have major problems with distortion on voices 5 and 6. After hosing it down with deoxit a couple of times and doing a lot of detailed cleaning, it is now to the point where the distortion is just about gone, but these two voices still take a lot longer than the others to warm up and get in tune. For voice 5, that could be 30 minutes. I don't know why there is so much crud on the 366 board in the area of IC 35-38, or what it is or why it's so hard to get off, but I intend to just keep cleaning since it makes a noticable difference every time I get an area cleaned. I hope this chip fixes it. I couldn't think of any other explanation.
