Wonderful! Found the problem and resurrected the second P6. It was pin2 from IC31, leading underneath the 8048. I caught this flaw during my first tests and troubleshooting and dropped repair wires in. I may have severed the trace when repairing and filling in the this hole. In any case, one extra wire did the trick. I'm very relieved indeed. Time to clean it all up and move onto a third P6, the worst of the three. Thanks for all the help.
