I take this as "The Polysix makes sound if I press the rubber bubbles
directly"?

It might not be such a good idea to clean the rubber parts with alcohol, too.

My suggestion: Disassemble the keyboard by removing the keyboard PCB. Then
very carefully remove the contact strips from the PCB. Make sure that the
little pins are not getting damaged in the process!
Gently wash the contact strips in water with some dish liquid. Clean them
in clean water, dry them; and perhaps gently (!) dry the conductive rubber
parts with a paper towel.
In the mean time you can clean the contacts on the PCB with denaturated
alcohol. Make sure you don't use any abrasive stuff!
Reassmble everything and make sure that the rubber "bubbles" are all in the
correct places.
With a bit of luck this wil already have taken care of the keyboard
problem. Sometimes a second cleaning might be needed.
