If you are serious about deploying this replacement KLM-367 then you should only consider the most obscure parts for salvage. We are talking mask ROM, wire to PCB connectors, thermistor, long-tail pair bipolar, etc. This board is approaching it's 30th anniversary in some cases and it will be slightly remiss not to change the ageing silicon and passives with commonly available, off-the-shelf replacements, where possible. (Some of these have lives much shorter than 30 years!) I understand that a full BOM for use with Farnell and Mouser with be made available where most of the these components can be bought. Some things certainly are salvageable, but not much. And the time investment in desoldering might easily justify the new parts. j --- In PolySix@yahoogroups.com <mailto:PolySix%40yahoogroups.com> , "synthparts" <synthparts@...> wrote: > > What happened to your old board? I would think most people would be getting most of the parts from their old KLM-367s... The battery leakage usually just kills a couple ICs... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
