Re: [PolySix] Anyone know of a way to 'see' your patch settings?

2009-04-13 by Oliver Fairhall

Hi,

I can't really give you an exact answer, but I did hear of a program
being written to import patches to the VST. From memory (I don't have my
P6 with me now), the P6 could export patches in the form of encoded
audio to a tape. I read somewhere online that someone was working on a
program to decode this audio on a PC, for translation into a VST patch.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you if the program was ever finished, or who
was writing it.

Hope it helps. Oh, maybe if you find the information, you could post it
back here for others.

Cheers,

Oli

I tried just tweaking each knob a little after calling up the patch, to try to find the spot that resembled the original sound the most, but saving it to a new slot and doing an A/B never got it just right.
