Hello Brian, I had a similar problem with another P6 which I had in for repair. One of the quad latches was running out of control because the control port line from the CPU was missing. I see from your picture there is still some severe corrosion on the print which needs to be dealt with post haste! I would suggest you start looking from broken tracks around the area where IC31 is and the new battery has been mounted.
