Good news everyone....!
Last night I resoldered the area of impact (around CN04, CN05, VR1,
VR2..).
Connected the board again.... deep breath .... switch on the synth...
leds looked ok .... connected headphones .... pressed a key and sweet
analog sound filled my ears :-) -everything worked perfectly.

Now I just need to fill up the hole in the chipwood underneath the
synth -and get a decent stand ;-)
