well i tried to replace IC 31 and a couple questionably corroded traces by jumping wires point to point. This was to to solve my polysixes problem of multiple patch keys LED's on all the time (such as D or #6 or the "write ' key )...well, instead of only 2 being on all the time , I now have 4 . Could i have overheated the IC 31?, the continuities all seem fine, the problem is some dont switch OFF.. could this be controlled by IC 31? I did possibly heat it too much? there are no 'bad traces'. left.
