Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Hiya,no just the hum no matter what keys/buttons i press.does reloading 
the sounds make a difference?,or should i be able to hear something by 
pressing the manual button?.could i connect to the output of the vca to 
check if there is actually any sound,as maybe the output side of things 
is faulty.....is this common ?
