Hi Roman, I read through the the Sputniik/Aero thread and he looks like he's a bit further on than me! I found one really short trace which was broken and fixed that, I don't know if there is a map of where the traces go because it's difficult when they are under IC's etc. Anyway I've been thorough and I can't see any problems with them. However I am prepared to be proved wrong. I didn't give a complete analysis of everything that's wrong with my machine: - The octave is only switchable between 16' and 8', 4' sounds the same as 16' - PW functions exactly the same as PWM - The Sub Osc will take the Polysix out of Manual mode when switching to -1, but you can just press Manual again. -2 does the same but Manual won't work with the switch in that position. - The VCA Attenuator isn't working at all I tested the pins on CN03 and I get these results: pin 1 varies between -5v and +4v depending on where the Effects Speed/Intensity knob is pins 2,3,4 are all reading 0.1v constantly pins 5,6 are constant around -4-5v pin 7 changes from around -5v to +5v depending on where the Resonance knob is. I'm going to test CN06 and i'll tell you what I find there shortly. Thanks for the help, Rich --- In PolySix@yahoogroups.com, "Roman" <modular@...> wrote: > > about the effect problem - measure the voltage at CN03 on KLM367 and see if > they change when you turn the following: > effect speed > effect type > VCA attenuation > VCF resonance > you should also see slow changing voltage if you have selected VCA > modulation by LFO > If they change, and not stay the same all the time, then your effect board > might be broken.
