I really recommend doing that "asap" as it sounds like the battery is 
starting to leak. Very soon it can go on and damage the entire board.

Replacing it VERY simple for any electronician. Let him follow the 
instructions as for converting for Liuthium battery use.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
