The Mellotron Group

where is John's Mellotron ? was it the same one used in Abbey Road ?

Hi all-
  A good question.  From the account of Mike Pinder, he had it up until the "Imagine" sessions, but it was in bad shape.  Mike was supposed to play it on the sessions, but had to bang on the tambourine instead.  John Lennon moved to New York City after that.  I too wonder where the MKII ended up.  The Tittenhurst Yard Sale, maybe?

is that a picture of it ? where is it now ? cool if that's it.
I just remembered Paul owns the one that was used in Abbey Road
and there is a youtube video of him playing it and talking about it's history.
