DIY M400 frame

DIY M400 frame

2010-05-31 by zogher

No, not that frame.

I built a frame to hold the main chassis of my newly acquired M400 as I work on it.

I spent a few hours doing it (I'm no carpenter) and having a feeling of accomplishment after it was done, I wanted to share it with the group via a few pics.

This frame will allow me to safely keep the chassis out of the cabinet as I clean it up (it is a little filthy).

Looks great! I suppose I'll have to make one of those one of these days. I'd like to paint my cabinet at some point. The only thing holding me back (besides time) is not being able to play the tron while it's in pieces.

Thanks Daniel.

I even built the frame with enough room so I could drop in a tape frame and the keyboard and play it. Skele-tron!

Nice - I'm just using a pair of sawhorses and some 2X4"s...but my
sawhorses do hold a lot of tools.
