I had never seen this web site before, but I bow to Phil Cirocco. This is
just amazing work and the results and the MP3s are mind blowing.

Amazing! Wonderful sound. But I am glad that Woolly wasn't using one of these in 1971!

Phil use to live in Bethlehem, PA , about 30 minutes from me, and I took my dead 2600 to him. He completely restored and modded it for me and it is just completely badass. His workshop was unbelievable. Scads of 2600s, his own home made modulars, Moogs, a museum of grand analog stuff....and the Novachord, which was completed at the time. He fired it up for me and the .mp3s don't do it justice. Phil is a one of a kind artist there is no doubt.

He has since relocated to Savannah. Who can blame him? For those that haven't been there, it is the most gorgeous quintessential small southern town, a smaller, older version of Austin sort of. He gets my Mini in the spring for a once over. I am anxious to hear what he does with it.

Pete,

There's a CD for sale on his site. I have it. He was also supposed to come out with a sample set, but it looks loke Hollow Sun will beat him to it.

A very special ,very good tech.

Maybe moving to Georgia has done something for him. It is true that he does know how to use a telephone. So disorganized, you must pin him down.

His Oddy / Avatar mod makes the oddy a 2600 sans voltage processor and reverb. I mothballed my 2600. I think he realised that and decided to stop doing it. His modulars are are as good as any ever made. A Tim Smith with bad social skills (all due respect)
