From Jerry Korb...

From Jerry Korb...

2009-09-04 by Rick Blechta

Greetings Fellow Troniacs Near and Far,

The last two years have been increasingly difficult family-wise.
My dear mother was diagnosed with Alz-Dementia in 2007, but Mali/I
now realize that Mom had failing memory/health back to 2002.

We took Mom into our home in June last year and arranged nursing staff
and medical volunteers to visit daily. Despite all our TLC and efforts,
Mom continued to decline. Especially the last six months of her life,
when placed on Hospice Program.

She passed-away peacefully in my arms the afternoon of 12-August, the
precise date of her father's passing in 1974. Mom's final words to me
were:
"I'm OK", then she left me to be alongside my Dad and to introduce
herself
to the 3 Bradley Brothers . Must be a noisy place up-there, with all
those
Tron-Wobblies.

Thanks all for your messages of sympathy. A special thanks to Ken
Leonard,
who spent three days w. me during the week of funeral services to
provide support.
Still not sure when/if I'll return to the Tron List. My life is
forever changed,
we'll see what unfolds during the next 6 months.

Most Sincerely, - Jerry and Mali and Margaret Korb (way up there)

Thanks for posting Rick. I do hope that both Jerry and Ken return to the group. They brought a wealth of knowledge and rational minds to the old group.
