I always used Testor's white enamel- it aged in a similar way to the original paint but they've changed it . I know that epoxy was used from the factory and you could get some white pigment and mix it with the very clear slow drying type for touch ups. Epoxy yellows with time.

Use automobile paint polishing compound. It will remove the yellow oxidation in the paint and your Yellowtron will once more look like a Mellotron. In a message dated 5/10/2009 12:33:12 P.M. Or you could go out and get 10,000 tiny bottles of Testor's like Andy.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not looking to do a total repaint yet. Need to do one of the side blocks by the keyboard. One bottle of Testor's just might do it. Anybody else? Andy

In the Northwest US, in Seattle, My nephew has a body shop , These days he spends more time making these motorcycle - motorbikes (Zackeys Custom Rods). He can match colors and do all of close detail stuff. If you you let him know that I sent you and that it is important to me he will give you a very good deal and do a very good job. gw On 5/10/09, lsf5275@aol.com <lsf5275@aol.com> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > Or you get some white-out and paint the Mellotron with that little tiny > brush. > > > In a message dated 5/10/2009 12:42:54 P.M. After paint dried, used 1000 wet sand and it really looked original, not the appliance white on some. Doug
