I have always loved you Andy (in a manly way, of course,) and this video  
struck me pretty hard. Karen and I have lost an enormous amount of money lately.  
But than God not all. We will survive. We may be out of work in 90 days or we 
 may become wealthy. I'm cautious but NOT optimistic. 
 
You drove the nail home. But Gordon Brown is only one man. I don't blame  
Bush for fucking up, he's only one man. We fucked up as a country, not as one  
guy. Our congress and your parliament are responsible... and if we appoint  
knuckleheads to be the focal point, we're responsible. We can fix this, but it's  
going to take a long time. You and I will not see it.

I really apreciate some of the comments here, they are very flattering. 
However, I feel that I should point out, in order to put the record  
straight, that the source for this tomfoolery is The Stranglers 1980's UK hit  "Golden 
Brown". I don't know how successful it was around the world. 
It hadn't dawned on me until now that there may be some in other parts of  
the world that would not have heard the original. What we have done is simply to 
 have radically changed the lyrics for our own purpose. I have been getting  
suggestions that what we should do eventually is to resing the original lyrics 
 and put it out as a proper cover version, which indeed we may look at.
Sorry there's been any misunderstanding. It wasn't intentional. I feel  
really stupid now and more than a little embarrased!
Hope it doesn't ruin the general apreciation of what we did with it.

I lived in an Igloo at the North Pole in the 80's and I was a big
Stranglers fan.  You guys did a good thing recording this.  It's not
just a good cover, it's a good cover with great humour too.  The new
lyrics fit so nicely!  

I forwarded it to my friends.  I hope you get a million views on youtube.
