Inside doesn't look too bad, looks like it's been upgraded, odd looking pitch control knob, got the red cap. 5 or 6 tapes not sounding? Even for a mellotron and I don't think that could be described as working! If I had a spare $2500 dollars it wouldn't be going here. Is this the same one that was up a few weeks ago? Are you going to bid Clay? ________________________________

It looks like the same one, same ad. The seller didn't even try to improve the description. Same starting bid too, it should be about $700 lower. -Bruce D. ________________________________

and overpriced. It didn't sell at that price before. Not a hard project. In a message dated 7/4/2012 4:32:26 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, hammonddave2004@yahoo.com writes: In truly unfortunate condition... http://www.ebay.com/itm/mellotron-400s-/200786705161?pt=Keyboards_MIDI&hash= item2ebfd1fb09

It looks like the pad and roller screws are all the way in. That can't be good. --- In newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com, lsf5275@... wrote:

I think this is indicative of how little people who owned/played them, understood how the worked. Some of the strange mods I've seen... evidently to solve the simplest of problems, have always amazed me. In a message dated 7/5/2012 9:13:51 A.M.
